Today I decided on wearing flats again. Lately I’ve always been wearing heels, and my feet needed a break! I love these flat sandals because they feel like walking barefoot – just right for summer. I just went to town today to give back the rental DSL box since our new WLAN box arrived yesterday.

Today I was just at home, reading stuff for university. My mom brought another cake home and a friend came over in the afternoon for cake & coffee. As we had another warm and sunny day, I decided on these Asia-style Prada Sandals. These are the first Prada (or expensive) shoes I ever bought – I was still in High School back then! I can still remember going to the store a million times just to admire them! So I saved money and sold old stuff at the flea market just to be able to buy these shoes! Luckily, when the sale came, a pair in my size was left and so they became my first pair of Prada shoes. I wore these a lot back then, and I still love them as much now! But now, I don’t wear them as often anymore, just so they will stay beautiful – I never want to lose them…. do you have any shoes you want to keep forever?
I love all the details on this shoe: the beautiful fabric combined with patent leather, the leaf and flower, and the attention paid to the heel design, the colour combination:
Last up, the cake my mom bought – again the wonderful Sachertorte from Rischart, this time with a slightly different design:
Worn with: Top by H&M, skirt by Orsay, belt by Little New York, necklace from my mom.
Even though I spent the day at home, I did manage to rescue another pair of shoes today! Even though these are just simple black sandals, they are special to me – they are shoes from my mom, which she bought a long time ago. I think they prove that a great pair of shoes never goes out of style, and that quality shoes will last for a very very long time!
As today was Mother’s Day, I of course made breakfast for my mom and I also got her a cake which we ate together in the garden this afternoon. The cake was originally just a strawberry cake, but I added some blueberries to make it more interesting.
What did you do for Mother’s Day?

I’ve been looking forward to wearing these shoes for months now, and finally it was warm enough! I combined them with this dress by H&M for a friend’s birthday party – a much more colourful look than I usually wear. Even though they’re pretty high, they’re comfortable and it was easy to dance in them for a long time…
I adore these wedges! Here’s a close-up:
I also made another rollcake (and more desserts, but they’re not as photogenic) this time with a flower pattern…..I’m totally hooked on these rollcakes, but I do want to try something else again too. I wish I had more time for baking, but right now my graduation has to be my no.1 prority!
Shoes: Pretty Ballerinas
Worn with: Skirt by Zara, top by H&M Conscious Collection.
Today we had another wonderful sunny and warm day. My mom went hiking with friends and I baked another roll cake which we ate together in the afternoon. Today’s outfit is just a casual one for relaxing in the garden. Finally it’s the kind of weather where I can wear these ballerinas! They’re completely impractical, but they were just too pretty to resist…..
This shoe is all about the details. I love how they paid attention to the sole as well…almost too pretty to walk on 😉
As I said, today I made another cake. Since it’s Easter time, I thought up an Easter themed decoration: Narcissus flowers, rabbits and easter eggs. Here it is:
Now there’s nearly nothing left already – but that’s the way it should be!
Have a nice Easter Weekend!
Today it was sunny but still really cold, so outfit-wise I wasn’t in the mood for dressing up, but I still decided to save another pair of good-weather shoes! I met friends for coffee and we watched the movie Limitless, which was interesting.
Worn with: Cardigan by Chille AnaP, top by H&M, jeans by Seven, bag by Armani.
Today’s shoes are by the Japanese brand Esperanza (as so many of my favourite pairs!), and they were love at first sight for me! I love everything about them: the crazy heel-shape, the big houndstooth print and the detachable bow. Nevertheless, when I first saw them I wasn’t feeling like spending money and stupidly decided to wait…..of course once I decided to buy them they were already sold out in the shop and I had to search a lot to find another pair! Luckily I found my “happy end” when I discovered a pair in Ikebukuro’s Esperanza shop 🙂
The only bad thing about them is that the uppers are made of fabric (there’s nothing worse than white fabric on a shoe!!), so I always have to listen closely to the weather report before wearing them …well, at least they’re comfortable!
Last but not least, another rollcake, which I made a few days ago. This time I thought up my own decorating pattern:
I must admit to buying another pair of shoes – I just couldn’t resist these beauties on Ebay (saved search will be the end of me!!)! They finally arrived on Saturday and I couldn’t resist to wear them the day I got them. But luckily, they are super comfy and I didn’t regret choosing them at all – no pain, no blisters after dancing the whole night!
I wore them with the outfit pictured below, to go clubbing with a friend at Pacha in Munich.
Worn with: Dress by Grey Magic, bag by Esperanza.
This weekend we had great weather here in Munich, so some of my friends came over for an afternoon of cake, coffee and card games in the garden. In the evening we went clubbing. The warm weather makes me want to go out every day! Also, I finally baked a cake from the Japanese book I wrote about before. I decided on the pink leopard version, to match our table decoration. It was really easy and the cake turned out great! I want to try out another one soon…
